Flex NBA is the NBA’s latest foray into the board game market, and an additional collectible in addition to the many trading cards/NFTs also available out there. It has a battle system similar to many of the competitive trading card games available out there. With cards sorted by rarity (the more rare the cards, the more powerful they are), strengths/weaknesses and power-ups, the set ranges from superstars like Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokic to your up-and-comers like Ja Morant and Luka Doncic.
As you figure by now, the game is heavily focused towards basketball collectors. The battle system is quite generic, and it is specifically 2 player focused. The player tiles are beautifully designed, and the quality is fantastic. If you are an NBA fan: I give this a 7/10, with most of the points towards the collectible aspect. If you are not an NBA fan: I would give this a 3/10.
